  • What's For Dinner: Not sure my hubby is cooking YAY
It was off to work we went, we are through deep cleaning except for a final mopping of the house and some last minute dusting.  Have the Turkey thawing in the fridge, will have to make one last run to the store but other than wrapping some presents we are ready.  Our menu will include: Turkey done in the rotisserie, cheesy green beans, maple glazed carrots, crescents, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, sweet potato casserole, and stuffing.  Before dinner there will be chips, dip, little smokies in bbq sauce, and a vegetable tray to munch on.  For dessert we are having a cookie tray, carrot cake bars, and double layer pumpkin cheesecake.  We are having one of KK's friends over for dinner and to go look at lights tomorrow night.  Then we will open one gift and our p.j.'s on Christmas Eve and watch Christmas movies together.  Then Christmas day will be spent in snuggly p.j.'s started with Spinach, Bacon, Cream Cheese Quiche, Cinnamon Rolls, and sipping warm cocoa.  I try to make sure that we linger over breakfast then do our stockings.  After talking with my Scrappy Friend Sara (Scraps of Sara link in the sidebar) about how they open presents to make it last longer.  I think we are going to give the"one person opens a gift at a time" route this year.  Then our friends' will come over for dinner, there will be more gifts to open, snacking, and dinner/dessert.  Lastly we will do our pickle presents for the grand finale.  So that is our holiday plans......what are yours?
