So what am I thinking about today?  Helping others and how it is such a wonderful thing for those on both sides....the giving and receiving ends.  Our home school group has been doing some great things of late to help others.  Our artistic friend "K" held a "Birthday party for Jesus" event where the kids' brought canned foods to donate to a local food bank.  Then our former president who comments here from time to time (Hi there Heather) set up the event that is being held today at the senior center.  The kids' will be filling and placing notes for the holidays into baskets for meals on wheels.  I believe this is the second year that this has been done and all the elderly and kids' love it.  They get to interact and love on one another which is great for both sides.  I love the feeling this time of year and the great things we can get involved with to help others.  I love the getting together as well and share good fellowship and good food with those I know and love this time of year.  I have went to several functions that have so greatly encouraged and strengthened me this time of year.  I feel truly blessed by the people the Lord has brought to my life, especially those in the last several years!!
